This talking system is also equipped to monitor how your Fusion’s health is regularly, so if it needs maintenance, you’re going to hear about it. *The vehicle’s electrical system (including the battery), the wireless service provider’s signal and a connected mobile phone all must be available and operating for 911 Assist to function properly. You would think that an I4 engine with standard six-speed manual transmission is all about the fuel economy. But not with Fusion. We increased the displacement of our I4 from 2.3L to 2.5L to up the horsepower. Took us from 160 to 175 horses. Crazy thing is fuel economy is projected to go up with it. Even crazier; the optional automatic should get better mileage than the manual - up to 33 mpg on the highway.* *I4 automatic 33 highway mpg based on Ford preliminary data.
